Do Pick is a writer, director, visual artist, and the founding artistic director of the Grazer Ungarisches Theater.
She began her career as a journalist, then continued her theatre studies at the Katona József Theatre and the Rock Theatre in Budapest. As an editor-director for Hungarian Television, she created nature-conservation series and documentary films, later becoming the creative director of a multimedia company, where she produced interactive storybooks and art albums.
In 2000 she founded the Vindornyalak’Art arts center, and in 2018 she established the DoPickArt studio, where she created short films and visual books. Her publications include numerous children’s books, novels, poetry collections, and more than ten visual poetry books. Her plays have been performed in Hungary, Austria, and Serbia.
Since 2021, she has lived in Graz, where she founded the Grazer Ungarisches Theater in 2024 and serves as its artistic director. At the end of 2025, she began developing NON-DETERMINISTIC THEATRE, an experimental theatrical format that creates a new stage structure through the real-time presence of AI, taking the possibilities of improvisational theatre to another level.
