If a person creates a perfect world, they don’t want to leave it, they don’t step through the gate. That other parts of the world are also beautiful only becomes apparent when we step through the gate to discover other worlds. I, then and there, stepped out, and from my little created world, this book is what remains.
Ha az ember teremt egy tökéletes világot, nem akar kimenni onnan, nem lép át a kapun. Hogy a világ más szeletje is szép, az csak akkor derül ki, ha kilépünk a kapun, hogy felfedezzünk más világokat. Én akkor, ott kiléptem, és a kis teremtett világomból ez a könyv maradt.
I wanted a house. Somewhere in Hungary, in a small village in the middle of nowhere, where I could surround myself with many animals. I longed for a fairy-tale world where everything is magically beautiful. After a long search, I realized that I had to create this myself, from scratch.
So, I created a world. Then and there…
I bought some very neglected, over a hundred-year-old houses in a small village in the Balaton Uplands of Hungary, and I began to transform them into something out of a fairy tale. Since my life goal is to bring joy to others with the beauty I create, I held art and soul-enriching camps. There were numerous exhibitions featuring contemporary artists, classical, jazz, and folk music concerts, street theater performances, and a seasonal organic eco-market tied to the exhibitions. In short, everything I loved.
And, to complete the idyll, people could even stay overnight.
Akartam egy házat. Valahol Magyarországon, az Isten háta mögött, egy kis faluban, ahol sok állattal vehetem körbe magam. Egy mesevilágra vágytam, ahol minden varázslatosan szép. Hosszas kutatás után rájöttem, hogy ezt nekem kell megteremtenem, a semmiből.
Hát, teremtettem egy világot. Akkor, ott…
Vettem néhány nagyon elhanyagolt állapotban lévő, száz évesnél is öregebb házat, Magyarországon, egy Balatonfelvidéki kis zsákfaluban, és nekiálltam mesebelivé alakítani őket. Mivel életcélom, hogy másoknak örömet okozzak az általam teremtett szépséggel, tartottam művészeti, és lélekszépítő tábort, Volt itt rengeteg kiállítás, kortárs művészek munkáiból, komolyzenei, jazz és népzenei koncertek, utcaszínházi előadások, időszakos, kiállításokhoz kötött organikus ökopiac, szóval minden amit szerettem.
És még – hogy teljes legyen az idill- aludni is lehetett nálam.
